Sandy Datema Joins Guaranty Bank

Guaranty Bank is pleased to announce that Sandy Datema, vice president, was recently hired to oversee the bank’s deposit functions as its new deposit operations manager.

Datema began her banking career nearly 40 years ago at Citizens National Bank in Emporia, Kan. She managed First Savings Bank in Republic for 14 years before joining Liberty Bank as a branch manager in 1998. She most recently served as the Regional Operations Manager for Simmons Bank’s Missouri and Kansas locations.

“Guaranty Bank is excited to have Sandy on our team,” said Teresa Blair, director of banking center operations, facilities and security for Guaranty Bank. “She has the knowledge and experience to support the bank’s goals while her talent and energy will help take us even further.”

Datema is very active in the community, having served as the treasurer of People Helping People in Republic for more than 30 years. She is also a weekly volunteer at the Branches at Brookline group home for developmentally disabled adults.
