James R. Batten, Chairman of the Board
James Batten, CPA, has enjoyed a long career and recently served as Chief Financial Officer of International Dehydrated Foods (IDF), a privately-held manufacturer of ingredients for the food industry, from September 2016 through January 2020. Among his numerous community roles, Batten is a member of the board of AG Financial Solutions, and Foundation Capital Resources. He is a former member of the NASDAQ Issuer Affairs Committee. Batten has also served on a number of other professional and civic boards, including the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks, and New Covenant Academy.

Abram “Abe” McGull is the founder of the McGull Law Firm that focuses upon personal injury claims and criminal defense. Prior to establishing his private practice of law, McGull was an Assistant United States Attorney with United States Department of Justice and a Commander in the United States Navy for 21 years. During his tenure with the Department of Justice, McGull served as a resident legal advisor in Iraq and Qatar. His service with the Department of Justice earned him the State Department Meritorious Honor Award for his creative and strategic diplomacy in northern Iraq. As a naval officer, McGull earned the distinguished Bronze Star for his outstanding duty performance as the chief of media operations in Baghdad, Iraq, and other service-related missions during Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). McGull has considerable municipal experience as the formerly elected Mayor of Pleasant Valley, Missouri and he presently serves as a city council member in Springfield, Missouri. McGull earned his law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Louisiana State University and Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Jim Anderson has enjoyed a long career in public affairs, including six years with CoxHealth leading marketing, public affairs, and community relations and 26 years as President of the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce. He has received numerous awards for his leadership and excellence in business, including, the Springfieldian award and The Missourian Award in 2005, the Lifetime Achievement in Business Award in 2007, the statewide Diversity Champion award in 2017, the inaugural statewide Kit Bond Citizen Leadership award from Hawthorn Foundation in 2019, and many others. In 2002, Drury University awarded him the Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters degree. He is a former member and Chairman of the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission, served as Chairman on the Chamber’s National Professional Organization in 1995, a former Chairman of the United Way of the Ozarks, and past Chairman of the Springfield/Branson National Airport board of directors. During his tenure as President of the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber was recognized as Chamber of the Year by its national professional organization in 2012.

Kurt Hellweg is the past Chairman of the Board of International Dehydrated Foods, Inc. ("IDF"), American Dehydrated Foods, Inc. ("ADF"), Food Ingredients Technology Company, L.L.C ("FITCO"), and IsoNova Technologies, L.L.C. ("IsoNova"). Prior to joining ADF, he was an officer in the U.S. Navy from 1980 to 1987. Hellweg is a past Board Member of the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, the Springfield Area Arts Council, and the Springfield Symphony. A visible leader in the community, he is the founding member of the Greater Ozarks Chapter of World Presidents' Organization ("WPO") (where he is still active). He retired from the practice of architecture in 2020 after 35 years as a lead partner of Butler, Rosenbury & Partners, Inc., an architecture and planning firm in Springfield, Missouri. Rosenbury is a member of several professional and civic organizations, including the American Institute of Architects. He is a past Chairman of the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce and a past President of the Board of Education for Springfield Public Schools.

Mr. Gipple was named Tax Partner with McGladrey & Pullen in 1994 and served as the Tax Partner-in-Charge of the firm’s Mississippi Valley Practice and as one of five Regional Tax Coordinators for the national firm. He specialized in Financial Institutions Taxation and Mergers and Acquisitions throughout his 14-year career in Public Accounting. He joined QCR Holdings in January of 2000, and currently serves as President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. He also serves as a Director of Quad City Bank & Trust and Guaranty Bank. Mr. Gipple previously served on the board of directors and the Executive Committee of the Davenport Chamber of Commerce, United Way of the Quad Cities and the Scott County Beautification Foundation and was a member of the original Governing Body for the Quad City’s “Success by 6” Initiative. Mr. Gipple was the 2016 Chief Corporate Chair for the Quad Cities JDRF One Walk and also currently serves on the Audit Committee for the Quad Cities Community Foundation, the board of directors and Executive Committee of the YMCA of the Iowa Mississippi Valley, the Board of Directors of the John Deere Classic, and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs.
