Eric Gerke Named 2024 Men of the Year Honoree

Eric Gerke, senior vice president commercial banking officer at Guaranty Bank, was recently named as a Springfield Business Journal 2024 Man of the Year honoree. This award recognizes the professional, philanthropic, and personal contributions of men in the Springfield area. They are nominated by their peers for their outstanding performance and the winner is selected by a qualified panel of judges.

Gerke joined Guaranty Bank in 2019 and has over 14 years of banking experience including business development and commercial lending. He believes leadership comes from a place of passion and philanthropy. Gerke states, “As a leader, you must lead by example. You need to be willing to complete any portion of the overall task at any moment.” Gerke’s proudest civic accomplishment to date was combining work and philanthropy. As capital campaign chair, he spearheaded CASA of Southwest Missouri’s fundraising efforts for their new headquarters and CASA clubhouse buildings.
